Well, I just saw this little announcement on ap.net. I think some people are looking into this a little bit too much and taking it 10x more serious than I think we are.  Haha. This Providence is taking some much needed time off from the road this summer, and since Dan and I as musicians are born to play music, how could we go a summer without playing shows!?  We’re always writing music and sometimes it doesn’t fit within the “This Providence” style, so we figured why not kill 2 birds with one stone and make an outlet to play some shows, write some other styles of music, and have some fun!   Plus on top of that I finally get to play live with one of my best friends who I’ve played music with for years but have never gotten a chance to actually start a project with.  You should check out his awesome band Brier Rose.  They just recorded a new EP and it’s going to be awesome.  And also joining us on bass is the guitar player of both my first band and the old project that our old TP guitarist Sean G and I had many years ago.  It’s like a big happy musical reunion for me! So again, if you’re in the Seattle area (and over 21) come on down the Blue Moon Tavern in the U District!  We have one goal for the night : to have fun!
