I’m in a contemplative mood.  I think aside from getting to be around the people I love, (and of course my puppy) my favorite part about being home is the little amount of time I get to myself.  Touring constantly wears on you as a person, especially when you can’t find any time to reflect on who you are and where you are.  On tour you’re always with people and there’s almost always something exciting going on.  So it’s always good to get home, and find an hour to sit and do nothing but think.  And then maybe read a book.
When we were writing our last record we spent a lot of time reflecting, and a lot of time questioning ourselves.  Hence the title, Who Are You Now? And it’s awesome to see how much more poised and at least how much more comfortable we are in life as we write more music.  I can’t wait to see what else we will come up with.
I’m working on a lot of projects right now.  I’m writing some music with 2 of my best friends and opportunity willing, we’ll have something to show you within the next few months.  I’m still planning on setting up a little online photo gallery/store if anyone is interested in getting some prints.  I’m still sorting through my tens of thousands of photos on my hard drives and seeing what’s worth throwing up there, as well as planning some trips to just take more photos.  And also playing out the ideas of another small photojournalism project.  I’ll let you know as soon as I know.. Haha.
I wanna see some more of your guys’ art as well.  We got some incredible pieces from some of you on the Let’s Make a Mess tour.  And I’ve still got them all.  Let’s see your creative side on the ‘Bout Damn Time tour!
See you soon!
