Talk to them like you would any other human being.

With all these kids trying to get into the “media” scene, what makes a person stand out to you (be it interviews or photography?)
Well, I’m not sure about a “media” scene. But like most things… the more you know about your trade you are trying to get into, the better you will be. The worst thing is when an interviewer or photographer or whatever doesn’t know or haven’t prepared what they are doing.
