Haiti.
Hey friends.
Haiti still desperately needs your help. This disaster is too huge to just fade away. I pray that we don’t lose sight of what happens in the rest of the world just because of how easy our lives can carry on here. We are blessed and spoiled.

I know many of your won’t like reading this because it might make you feel “guilty.” Just a thought… maybe feeling guilty isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Especially when it moves you to action.
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

Here’s the organizations I have chosen to support.
1. American Red Cross - The American Red Cross is a reputable organization with years of service under their belt. They are one of the top aid organizations in the world. And the good news for those with little money is that they accept donations as little as $10. So skip lunch for a day, or don’t drink a Starbucks. Help someone who needs it.
2. Churches Helping Churches - CHC is a newer organization and associated with Mars Hill Church in Seattle. This organization is concentrating their aid relief to the churches of Port-au-Prince, realizing that the church is a viable and important center of hope for the people there. ”Both throughout history and following specific tragedies it is often the local church that cares for widows, orphans, and the poor. It is the church who performs the funerals, grief counseling and spiritual follow up with families of victims. Rebuilding local churches helps address the practical and spiritual needs of a country, one person, one neighborhood, and one community at a time.”
You can make a difference.
