Five Iron Frenzy - Handbook for the Sellout
So it’s pretty likely most of you guys don’t know this band very well if at all, aside from my occasional posting about them. Well today is Five Iron Frenzy Day! Six years ago today this band died, (and by that I mean they broke up.) The reason I’m letting you all know is because this was the band when I was growing up that I followed religiously!
I love meeting you guys and seeing you over and over again and hearing “This is the 9th time I’ve seen This Providence!” We love you guys for that! And cannot thank you enough for the support. I was one of those kids for Five Iron. They played their final show on November 22, 2003 to a sold out Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO. I went to 3 shows on their final tour, and countless shows before. I even snuck onto the roof of a sold out show to watch through a window because I couldn’t get tickets!
And you wanna know a secret….???
I cried when they broke up. Haha. Enjoy! This song is from their 1997 album called “Our Newest Album Ever!”
