For the ThisProvidence.com blog :

I need more coffee.

Tour is starting again.  I’m still not totally sure that I feel completely caught up from the lack of sleep on Warped Tour.  These next couple runs should be fun.  This is officially the busiest touring year in This Providence history.  Thanks for being a part of it.   Make sure you check our dates coming up with The Almost and Cartel.  These tours are gonna be fun.

We are currently hanging in Denver.  We are playing just a few shows on the way out to the Almost tour instead driving straight from Seattle to Florida.  Tonight we are playing with The Ataris and the Swellers.  Should be a super fun show.  Most of us grew up listening to the Ataris, and last night we got to hang out with the Swellers for a few hours.  I’m stoked that they are part of the FBR family now.

I’ve got lots of memories in this city.  The first time I was were it was just after my 18th birthday.  I flew here to see my favorite band at the time Five Iron Frenzy who are natives of Denver.  It was their final show ever.  An amazing night.  Then on my first tour with This Providence with A Change of Pace, June, and Paulson we played here.  The kids at the show were so nuts that night that I had such an adrenaline rush that I got out from my drums at the end of our set and stage dove.  An amazing night.  So tonight I’m hoping for the same.  We’ve got a great setup between The Ataris and the Swellers.  Let’s hope tonight is amazing as well.

See you soon, friends.  Also… don’t forget to check out all of our personal blogs.  There’s links on the side.  Here’s my shameless plug for www.andyhorst.com
