Meet “Cath.”  This is the newest snare I have built in my own little mobile garage drum shop I like to call Red Wall Drum Co.  I rushed to get this guy done so I would have a new snare to play for Warped Tour this year.  I barely got it finished in time, but luckily was able to bring it out.  I’m fairly happy with the outcome.  This is only the third addition to the drums I’ve made, so Ahna and Beth now have a new sister.

I decided to name this one Cath after one of my favorite new Death Cab for Cutie songs.  During the entire process of building out this snare drums I listened to the 14 Death Cab albums or EP’s I have on my iPod on shuffle.  Death Cab, being my favorite band deserved to have this new snare named after them.
